Jasmine has been working in the veterinary profession since 2007, starting her career as an animal care technician working primarily with exotic animals, and then later with canines and felines.

In 2019, Jasmine assisted in the founding of RAAM, where there is a strong emphasis on education, compassion and client experience. She started the Bird Behavior Academy, designed for bird owners who want to nurture a trusting bond, healthy environment, and happy lifestyle for their birds. She is an Avian Fear Free Certified professional and member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.

Jasmine lives with her wife Alex, their dogs Peanut, Roxie, Benjamin, and their avian friend Petie. She enjoys traveling with her wife and lived in Brazil for three years where she learned to speak Portuguese. She has a strong love of cooking and spending time with her family. She also volunteers at local dog/cat shelters and the Rhode Island Parrot Rescue.
